A record number of helpers gathered for a Working Party in the Jubilee Gardens on Thursday 10th November, such was their enthusiasm that 200 Hydrangea Paniculata Grandiflora were planted within an hour in ground already prepared by Simon and his team.
Weeding and tidying up in the Sensory Garden took up the remainder of the morning until “Soup Time” was called, so it was off to enjoy a welcome bowl of delicious homemade soup and fresh bread kindly provided by Andy at the Maltings.
Our next Working Party sessions will be in the Spring.
